Martin McIntyre, founder and proprietor of SISM, has an extensive range of education and experience in all areas of sports injury, medicine, and sports conditioning for recreational and elite footballers and athletes. As a leading researcher and lecturer with numerous publications in the British Journal of Sports Medicine and Journal of Sports Sciences, McIntyre grew his experience having qualified with a MSc sports injury (medicine ), University of Sheffield, MSc Gaelic football, IT Tralee, BSc (hons ) sports science, John Moores University, HDip science and football, John Moores University. He has worked with Kerry senior, u21, and minor development squads since 1997, IT Tralee (Sigerson Cup winners 1999, 2000, 2001 ), Roscommon (Senior Connacht winners, 2010 ), and minor football teams (All Ireland Winners 2006 ), along with many more county and club teams. Running school – At Ireland’s first ever running school they work with children from eight years upwards and adults in teaching you how to run to make you run faster, increase your speed, and prevent injury.
Foot and back pain – Orthotic and foot assessment to relieve foot, ankle, back, and knee pain.
Trainers – Correct footwear and trainers are specially prescribed to suit your feet and running style.
