Castlebar Young Fine Gael will hold its first meeting following the summer break this Saturday. The new committee comprises Darragh Loftus (chairperson ), Liam McHale (secretary ), Shane Reilly (PRO ), Aoibhinn Kenny (treasurer ), Jack O’Donnell (vice-chairperson ) and Michael Walsh (membership officer for North-West region ), are keen to welcome new members between the ages of 15 and 30 to join.
The agenda for this Saturday’s meeting includes discussion on the presidential election, YFG regional council plans, and an upcoming weekend trip to Dáil Éireann. Chairperson Darragh Loftus, a recent GMIT business graduate, said: “It is an interesting era to be involved in politics where Fine Gael as a party attempt to right the wrongs of the past and develop a consensus of inclusiveness and connectivity and particularly bringing the youth to the fore by the using a social strategy.”
The meeting takes place tomorrow (Saturday ) at 8pm in the TF Royal Hotel and all are welcome.
