Terry Nolan to retire as SEPIL managing director

Terry Nolan, managing director of Shell E&P Ireland Limited (SEPIL ), is to retire at the end of 2011, it has been announced.

Mr Nolan joined SEPIL in 2006. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for 37 years, 33 of them with Shell, in a variety of different roles and in various parts of the world.

Addressing SEPIL staff on Friday last, Mr Nolan paid tribute to the people he had worked with and met during his time on the Corrib gas project.

“During the past five years, I have been fortunate to have been supported by a very committed and professional team,” he said. “I am hugely proud of our many collective achievements on Corrib, none of which would have been possible without the fantastic support I have had from the whole Corrib organisation and our many contractors.”
