Now, for the first time ever, the society will present highlights from these epic productions together with many more in a concert performance. Beauty and The Beast next up for the society

After much discussion it was decided that Disney’s Beauty and The Beast would be the next show to be undertaken by Ballinrobe Musical Society. This production is based on the film of the same name and the Broadway production became the eighth-longest running production in history.

This will be a very difficult production to stage, as it requires intricate costumes and stage and lighting design of a high quality. After winning the Best Technical AIMS award for two years running the show is in safe and extremely competent hands. Beauty and The Beast will run from the February 12 to 18 2012 at 8pm nightly including a special matinee performance on Sunday February 12 in Ballinrobe Community School.
