Mini fleadh for Belmullet

The Erris branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Craobh Chlann Lir, is holding Féile an Fhomhair, a weekend of traditional music, featuring sessions, workshops and a concert.

The weekend takes place from Friday September 23 to Sunday September 25, at various locations around the town. The Erris branch is delighted that such names as Rosie Stewart, John McHugh, Tommy Doherty John Butler, Míchéal O Dubhain, and Colm O’Donnell are attending, for both the workshops on the Saturday and for the concert that evening. Craobh Chlann Lir was founded in 2008 and, since that time, the branch has endeavoured to promote traditional Irish music in the Erris area. The branch holds monthly meetings and new members are always welcome. For further details contact Ann at 097 81710.
