Molloy’s Lifestyle Pharmacies and Health Stores will be taking part in the Bump and Beyond Expo which is taking place in the Event Centre at Breaffy Hotel Resort, Castlebar, on Sunday September 4, between noon and 5pm.
This is an exciting event for new and expecting parents which will showcase local businesses, health professionals, and community groups with products, information, and advice for pregnant mums, babies, and young children. Admission into this must see event is free and has the makings of an ideal family day out.
Molloy’s Lifestyle Pharmacies will be offering the following on the day: James Geraghty of Molloy’s Lifestyle Pharmacies, and resident pharmacist with Mid West Radio, will be giving a talk on all you need to know about your health and wellbeing during pregnancy and that of your babies and young children. Geraghty will answer any questions you may have on common child health issues like colic, constipation, eczema, etc.
Elizabeth Murray, registered dietician with Molloy’s Lifestyle Pharmacy, will be giving a number of talks on the day in relation to dietary requirements from pregnancy right through to feeding fussy toddlers and everything in between. She will be available throughout the day to answer all your questions from what not to eat when pregnant to advice on starting your baby on solids. Whatever your concerns with regard to your family diet she would be delighted to address them and to give you the answers you need.
There will also be free skin health consultations with the Vichy Consult Tool, as well as lots of free advice and tips from packing for hospital, post pregnancy recovery, to caring for your family’s healath.
