Paws for Thought

Mayo SPCA needs to find caring homes for its rescued animals, some of which are shown here but others can be seen on the website www.mayospca.com If you can help by offering a home on a permanent or temporary basis then please call 094 963 1888 or 086 803 2592. Telephone lines are open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. If your call is not answered please leave a message and it will be returned as soon as is possible.

Misha is a five month old cross bred pointer, her mum is a pure bred dog. She has a lovely nature, is very affectionate, friendly, and good with children and other dogs. She needs more lead training, but is only a big pup. She will be quite a large dog when fully grown and a home would suit where someone has time to spend with her. Pointers do not like to be left alone for long periods of time and are very human orientated dogs, they just love companionship. Misha is in excellent physical condition, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

Jess has now finished rearing her pups after being abandoned in woodland area in Mulranny. Most of her pups now have new homes and Jess needs one herself. She has done a great job, will be spayed before going to a new home, is fully vaccinated, worm treated, in good physical condition, has a really gentle temperament, and will be a good companion dog.

If anyone can offer a good home to a cat or kitten then please call Mayo SPCA, there would be a cat to suit all purposes, indoor/outdoor, young/mature, all ages, colours and temperaments, but so many friendly litter trained cats/kittens that need to be enjoying life outside of their small cattery.
