Street lighting in Mayo has just been made better following the launch of a new interactive street lighting website, airtricitysolutions.com, which makes it easier for residents and business owners across Mayo to report a faulty street light.
Airtricity Utility Solutions, which employs 10 electrical technicians and administrative staff out of its Sligo depot at Colooney, already maintains almost 1,0478 street lights on behalf of Mayo County Council.
Reporting a faulty street light in Mayo could not be easier. Members of the public can go online at any time of the day or night and report a fault via the website home page. Users will also be able to track the progress of a fault that they have already reported.
Once reported and logged online, Airtricity Utility Solutions is guaranteeing that all faults will be repaired and completed within 10 working days – making street lighting better for communities all across Mayo. Airtricitysolutions.com is the first such online fault-reporting service of its kind for street lights in Ireland.
In addition to members of the public being able to report a fault online, public lighting and roads engineers at Mayo County Council and Ballina Town Council will be able to monitor maintenance to the local authority’s public lighting stock via a dedicated and secure web-based Facilities Management platform – significantly improving the efficiency of street lighting repairs and monitoring in Mayo.
This new online reporting service from Airtricity Utility Solutions is in addition to the company’s existing street lighting telephone fault line 1850 372772, which is available Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
