Join Irish Wildlife Trust on a Mayo Wild Watch Walk and discover a wilder Ireland on your doorstep.
On August 20 from 10am to 12 noon a walk at the Doon Peninsula will take place. Chris Huxley will be leading a joint IWT and Birdwatch Mayo walk on the Doon peninsula to look at flora, fauna and the overall ecology and environment of the lough and its lakeshore habitats.
Meet at the Burriscarra Abbey graveyard at 10am. Walking boots and weatherproof clothing advisable. The terrain is easy.
