The Achill Heinrich Böll Association will present a summer concert of songs by Anne Marie Gibbons, mezzo soprano of Louisburgh, and David Durham, baritone of London and Castlebar, accompanied by Aoife O Sullivan on piano, on Saturday August 13 at 8pm in St Thomas' Church, Dugort.
Tickets cost €15 with proceeds to benefit St Colman’s Care Centre. Tickets are available from various outlets on Achill Island.
The wide ranging programme will include solo arias and duets by Tosti, Offenbach, Franz Lehar, Reynaldo Hahn, Kalman, Rossini, Saint Saens, Handel, Bernstein, Copeland and Lloyd Webber.
