Fundraisers throughout Mayo are being asked to sign up to a week-long Slovenia Adventure Challenge in June 2009 for Ireland’s only centre for blind children.
Those aged 18 years and upwards can take part in the walking/cycle challenge which will take participants through some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe.
The minimum fundraising target is €3,000 which covers all flights and transfers, insurance, service charges and taxes. Accommodation is on a half board basis in a hotel in the picturesque Alpine village of Kranjska Gora. Packed lunches will also be provided on full challenge days.
