A minute’s silence was held at Castlebar District Court on Wednesday after Judge Mary Devins informed the court that she had just learned about the sad passing of Judge Derek McVeigh, who was a moveable judge on the District Court Bench.
Judge McVeigh, a native of Letterkenny, Co Donegal, will be buried today (Friday ) in Athlone. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
