Ceol na Locha Summer School takes place in the Gaeltacht area of Tourmakeady from August 8 to 12.
This unique week long event promotes the learning of musical instruments, dancing and painting through the medium of Irish. The classes take place mornings (10am to 1.30pm ) in the local Irish College Coláiste Mhuire.
In addition, for those who are interested, there is a Farmers Market on the first day, various workshops take place during the week plus a guided walk in the area. At the close of the summer school the teachers and students participate in an end of school concert.
