A major national fundraising challenge in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland is bound for Mayo on Saturday July 30.
32 Steps for CF is an initiative which sees a team of climbers scale the highest points in each of the 32 counties week by week and some other parts of the world, before tackling Everest. Step 27 is the next leg of the journey and will take place at Mweelrea in Mayo.
The challenge begins at 11am at Mweelrea. A good level of fitness is required for the 814m climb (that should take about five hours and members of the public are encouraged to come along and join the team ). For full location details see www.IrelandtoEverest.com
