A novel fundraising event will take place on August 6 at Castlebar Tennis Club entitled Banter to Fight Cancer.
Eat, cringe, laugh and play all in support of Mayo Cancer Support Association.
Tickets cost €10 for the fun day, barbecue and night time entertainment or, alternatively, enjoy the fun day and barbecue for just €5. Free entry with money raised by sponsorship cards.
Activities include waxing, head shaving, barbecue, old school sports day, entertaining inflatables, live music, and bring and buy bake sale.
The event commences at 4pm but is strictly for over 18s only after 9pm.
