Summer camps and parties at Commons’ Clay Café

Commons’ Clay Café is a hive of activity for the summer months, with pottery painting, summer camps, parties and the restaurant.

The restaurant and pottery painting are open seven days a week, with no need to book. Pottery painting is an ideal activity for all the family and why not make a day of it and have lunch from their full menu, catering for all tastes. All food is sourced locally and freshly prepared on the premises. There is also a great range of home baked produce.

Children’s parties are a speciality either on the premises or in the child’s home. Commons’ Clay Café is fully mobile and can go to the home with a wide range of pottery to choose from. Just call 094 937 3370 to discuss your requirements.

For the first two weeks of August, Commons’ Clay Café is running summer camps combining cookery and pottery painting. All children are set up with their own bowl, wooden spoon and rolling pin and the fun begins! After the goodies go in the oven, there are classes on pottery painting, giving the children tips and guidance on different techniques. Everyone goes home every day with a lunch box full of nice things to eat which the children have produced themselves and at the end of the camp, pieces of pottery to keep forever.

There are still places left so ring Mary 094 937 3370 to book.

Commons' Clay Café is located at Unit 22 Lakeside Retail Park, Claremorris.
