A revolutionary new tablet coating system, which helps make your medicine go down, is now distributed around Mayo from locally based company Pamex Ltd.
Medcoat, a Swedish tablet coating system, enables tablet takers to quickly and easily apply a special coating to their pills, making them 98 per cent easier to swallow.
The special food coating firstly masks the tablet’s original taste and it also makes medication slippery and much easier to swallow.
One Medcoat package contains 10 films and with one film you can mask one to two tablets, depending on their size.
Medcoat is now available from pharmacies.
