Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring has welcomed the announcement of funding in the sum of €273,282.62, which has been allocated for a range of facilities for the library in Swinford.
This funding has been made available by Phil Hogan, TD, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government. This funding has been allocated as part of an overall spend of €5.8 million New Capital Programme for Libraries.
“I am delighted with this announcement as I believe it will be of great benefit to the people of Swinford, the surrounding areas and the people who are visiting Swinford. It also gives a further boost to Mayo”, concluded Minister Ring.
