Louise Garrett, has been a staff member with Allure Hairdressing, Ballina since 2005. Louise has always had a passion for hairdressing and wanted to work for Allure due to their fantastic reputation.
By 2006, Louise won a junior upstyling competition in the Irish Nationals and in 2008 she won the Junior Hairdresser of the year. That same year, Louise was selected as part of team Ireland and went to Paris to compete in the European Championships in the Senior Upstyle and Downstyle. Entering this competition really broadened her horizons and got to see what styles were popular all across Europe and brought back that wealth of experience to Allure in Ballina.
In 2009 Louise entered as a senior in the Upstyling and Downstyling competition. Louis won the Upstyle, came second in Bridal and fourth in Downstyling.
For the last two years, Louise has been focusing on her clients in the salon and has now taken on a senior role of managing the salon. To add to her already busy schedule Louise has also started teaching and passing on her expertise to other stylists. This year again she will be focused on offering the clients of the salon a superb level of expertise, products and service but always bearing in mind that the salon must offer value.
