The Odd Hanger is introducing a new concept in shopping to Westport on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Following on from its inaugural event in Sligo, it is taking its pop-up shop to The Plaza Hotel where the team will be retailing past season Avoca fashions at discounted prices.
Pop-up shopping is already very popular and trendy in the United States and UK and judging on the success of the Odd Hanger event in Sligo, it is set to be a success in Ireland too. A spokeswoman for The Odd Hanger explained that a pop-up shop is a different shopping experience, which will pop up at a location for a few days and then move on. All products offered by The Odd Hanger are sourced directly from the well known Avoca fashion and lifestyle chain, which is based here in Ireland and is world renowned.
