Minister of State for Transport and Tourism and Mayo TD Michael Ring has revealed a significant boost for Mayo with three conferences being held in the county this autumn.
Minister Ring announced that the board of Tourism Ireland will hold a board meeting in Westport in September, The National Adventure Conference will be held in Mayo in November, and the Irish Coast Guard will hold its Officers in Charge Conference in the county in November.
“It sends out a clear message that Mayo is a place to do business. I hope all three events will generate return business, and that they will encourage other organisations to use the county’s excellent facilities.”
