Following on from the recent success of Joanne Maloney’s thought-inspiring book Quoted Moments, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has announced that he will officially launch the book on Friday July 8 in the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, at 8pm.
Mayo woman Ms Maloney is delighted to have the backing of the Taoiseach: “The Taoiseach was my first choice to launch my book as he’s from Mayo and is a supporter of the Irish Cancer Society. I’m really delighted and excited to have him join us for the occasion, it is a real honour.
“Our launch will hopefully be a great success now and with acts such as the Castlebar Gospel Choir and What The Funk lined up to play at the launch it should be a great night,” she adds.
Quoted Moments is the brainchild of Ms Maloney and is an inspiring book for anyone who is looking for an uplifting read or something to make you appreciate the little moments in life. Filled with beautiful poetry and quotes, and stunning imagery from acclaimed photographers all around Ireland, it is a book not to be missed.
The book has been on sale for the past two months and is already doing phenomenally well, selling out in stores nationwide on a weekly basis. With all the proceeds of the book going to the Irish Cancer Society Ms Maloney explains that she is overwhelmed with the reaction her book is receiving.
