Westport native Fintan Friel is coming back to his roots with his new exhibition, From the Archive.
The exhibition, which will be hosted in the Custom House Gallery in Westport, features a selection of old black and white prints, taken in the 1980s, that Friel found in the attic on a recent trip home. The pictures were all taken on film and developed by hand in a time long before the age of digital cameras and instant publication of images through social media.
The exhibition opened last night and will run until July 3.
