Fertility tips

When trying for a baby, there are many approaches that you can take but there are some very straightforward changes you can make to your lifestyle that can make a huge difference and improve your chances of success. Here are a few to help you on your way.

1. A healthy diet is the ideal basis but people are simply not getting the nutrients they need from supermarket bought food. Increase the amount of fruit and vegetables and whole foods like oats, whole-wheat bread, etc, to give extra valuable vitamins and minerals. Eat oily fish, nuts, and seeds to get the essential fats like omega 3 that are not only needed for conception for both the man and the woman but are also important for the brain development of the foetus.

2. Get the timing right - This is possibly one of the most important things that you can do to increase your chances of conception. Use the BBT chart to make sure that you do not miss important days before ovulation as well as at ovulation. Always use the cervical mucus as your guide also. These methods are explained in detail as part of the treatment.

3. Use sanitary towels instead of tampons. Tampons stop the blood flow and encourage clots, fibroids, and do not aid endometriosis (This is the view in Chinese medicine ).
