Castlebar town councillor Harry Barrett has welcomed Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s support of the purchase of the Imperial Hotel in Castlebar by Mayo County Council and Castlebar Town Council.
Cllr Barrett said it was important to protect “this very valuable piece of our local heritage and I am glad An Taoiseach has agreed with our plans and has given it his support.
