Cathaoirleach of Mayo County Council, Cllr Michael Burke, will attend a function at the British embassy in Dublin during Queen Elizabeth’s visit. Cllr Burke told the monthly meeting of the local authority this week that he had received an invitation from the British embassy to the event to be held next week. The members of the council gave their approval for the Cathaoirleach to attend.
