The builder who parked a cherry picker outside Leinster House as part of a protest and was subsequently charged with dangerous driving had his case struck out in Dublin District Court this week.
Achill native Joe McNamara, who has an address at Dun na Carraige, Blackrock, Galway, had the charge withdrawn by Judge William Early.
The protest occurred outside Leinster House on December 7 last. Mr McNamara has promised not to take part in any further protests.
