Massive Fundraising show at the Royal Theatre tomorrow

With fiddles, flutes, accordions, concertinas, guitars, dancing shoes, powerful voices and lots of devilment thrown in too, Ireland's top Trad acts flock to The Royal Theatre, Castlebar tomorrow May 14 to get the people of the west dancing while raising some much needed funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin. Hosted by All Ireland Talent Show finalists for the West, Sean Nós ar an tSionann, the night is set to be a big success with such a line up of acts.

Taking to the stage will be Eleanor Shanley with her band, Paul Kelly and Fankie Lane, Kerry's Seamus Begley and Jim Murray, All Ireland Champions The Dartry Céilí Band, Politically Correct of All Ireland Talent Show fame, Sean Nós ar an tSionann, and the latest edition to the line up is Sligo man Seamie O’Dowd.

Tickets for the concert are selling fast according to the delighted, Sean Nós ar an tSionann members. They can be purchased on ticketmaster.ie, at the Royal Theatre Box Office or from any Sean Nós ar an tSionann members.

For those who can’t make the show, it will be recorded for all to see again according to concert organiser Edwina Guckian. “For those people who won’t get to see the concert, we have decided to record it and will later put it up on YouTube for them all to see. We will also be sending a copy on DVD to all the wards in Our Lady's Hospital as we recently visited the special children there and they said they'd love to be going to the concert too." There will be a number of prizes on offer in a monster raffle on the night also. MC on the night is Eugene Murphy from Shannonside Radio. So come along to The Royal Theatre on Saturday May 14 to what’s guaranteed to be a great night of music, song and dance and show your support for Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin. Doors open at 7.30pm.
