Brennan’s Lane Bar in Ballina is the home of top class entertainment this May, with a stellar line up of events that is sure to attract people from all over Mayo.
With a wide ranging line up of events from live music to comedy, things will kick off this Friday night when Starman takes to the stage in the basement. On May 13 it is the turn of J90 for the recession busting price of €5 for a great night’s entertainment, then on Sunday it’s the best of the eighties with Spring Break for the low price of €10. On May 26 it’s time to get your funny bone tickled when one of Ireland’s favourite funny men, PJ Gallagher, takes to the stage for what promises to be a night full of belly laughs. Other events taking place include Oddsocks Revival, The Willful, and the Paul K band during the month which have no cover charge. On May 29, Gorilla Radio will bring to an end another top class month of entertainment in Ballina.
Brennan’s Lane Bar is also home to the Market Kitchen, which recently won the Best Mayo Restaurant in the Santa Rita Irish Restaurant awards. The Market Kitchen is currently in the running at the Irish Restaurant Awards which will be announced on May 25.
