Anne Tobin Beauty College is Mayo’s most prestigious and longest established Beauty and Holistic College.
Anne Tobin – The director of the college – has over 25 years experience in the beauty industry, both as a practitioner and a trainer. Anne qualified as a beauty practitioner from the Bronwyn Conroy Beauty College in Grafton Street, Dublin. Anne went on to become a tutor in that college, lecturing in all areas of beauty therapy. Anne then moved to London where she ran a very successful beauty clinic that included London’s first nail bar. In 1998 Anne returned to her native Castlebar where she opened her first beauty clinic in Newline, she started teaching nail technology and undertook further education herself in courses like aerobics, nutrition, aromatherapy and reflexology. It was through this involvement in her own further education that Anne identified the need for a Beauty and Holistic college in Castlebar. Anne has completed many studies and now holds her ITEC Diploma in Lecturing and is at present studying for her ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage in her own college.
The college has an exemplary record in achievements and Anne is delighted to offer courses accredited by CIBTAC as a further qualification in her college.
The college offers: full-time beauty therapy, part-time beauty specialist, holistic massage, nail technology, sports massage, advanced waxing and electrolysis, Indian head massage, hot stone massage, make-up courses and reflexology.
Anne is delighted to announce the commencement of the ITEC Fashion Media and Theatre Make-up Artistry Course. This course is broken into two sections: Fashion, Theatre and Media Make-up and Special Effects.
