The preferred route of the N59 low-volume scheme, on the Westport to Mulranny Road, will go on public display from this week.
At the Westport Electoral Area meeting on Monday, members were informed that submissions from the public on the route can be received until May 19.
The funding of €2.6 million will allow for the commencement of the Kilbride section, with a contractor expected to be on site in late August/early September. Completion is expected in mid-summer 2012.
