The finances of Mayo County Council for the first three months of the year are in line with budget expectations.
Director of finances for Mayo County Council, Peter Duggan, told the meeting: “We are broadly in line with our budgetary plans for this year in the first quarter of the year both on the income and expenditure sides. Mayo County Council had budgeted to spend €131,824,449 this year and up to the end of March the total expenditure was €30,0625,355 or 22.8 per cent of the budget. On the income side of things, the council have collected €30,331,489 or 23.01 per cent of the expected total of €131,824,49 this year.”
