A woman who was observed to be staggering around Castlebar with no shoes on, while intoxicated, was before the district court on Wednesday for being threatening and abusive.
Emma Murphy, 29 Lios na Circe, Saleen, Castlebar, was observed by gardaí to be intoxicated on April 1 at 9.45pm on Ellison Street. When gardaí approached her she asked them: “What the f**k are ye talking to me for? Ye stupid f****rs. So what if I’m pissed?”
The unemployed woman, who has one previous conviction, was convicted and fined €250 by Judge Mary Devins.
