Graune Pet Farm and Play Centre is fast becoming one of the west's best known and loved attractions. Experience the outdoor life by taking the farm walk which has been specially designed to enable you get up close and feed the numerous animals on the farm. The children love to feed the ducks down by the lake. They have all the usual animals in addition to llamas, emus, and deer. An added attraction this year is Sammy the snake and Shrek and Shelly, their two turtles along with recently named Snappy.
A lot of the animals are enclosed which makes it easy to feed and cuddle them. Daisy, the milking cow, is a huge attraction with all ages. The poultry section is always fascinating and if you are lucky you may even experience the joy of watching a new chick being hatched.
Weather permitting you can enjoy the football pitch, picnic area, and outdoor swings, slides, etc. However, don’t let the weather put you off as many of the facilities are indoors. The race track is a big attraction with all ages. You can do your own thing or for the more competitive you can arrange races. The big sandpit is also very popular. Children forget everything else as soon as they get in there. They get creative with the many diggers and tractors, while some just love to play with the good old bucket and spade.
Once you have experienced all of this you can move in to enjoy the indoor play area. There are four bouncy castles, toddler play area (supervised ), pool tables and soccer tables. The fun just goes on and on. While the children play in this area, you can relax in the restaurant with the added bonus of being able to view the children as they play.
With summer approaching the farm is full of baby lambs, chicks, puppies, foals, etc. This is an experience not to be missed. So book now as tour dates are filling up fast and you don't want your school to miss this unique fun and learning experience.
