Network Mayo’s March event, Business to Arts: Developing Creative Partnerships, will take place at 7.30pm on March 30 in the Claremorris Gallery.
Stuart McLaughlin, the CEO of Business to Arts will be the evening’s guest speaker. He will explore some of the new models, partnerships and networks that are emerging in Ireland. Speaking from his personal experience of moving from working with a large multi-national to running a small not-for-profit organisation, Stuart will discuss whether there is an imperative for us all to reconsider our approach in order to thrive in turbulent times.
Dr Patricia Noone will also briefly present an award-winning visual art collaboration between Lundbeck Ireland Ltd and the George Moore Society.
An exhibition of paintings by the group of artists participating in that project will be on display in the gallery.
Business to Arts, a non-profit organisation in existence for over 20 years, works to support sustainability in the cultural sector through research, innovation and partnership. Business to Arts fundamentally believes that the corporate and cultural community can work together to address the issues and challenges that face us in both business and society in general.
Claremorris Gallery is located on Mount Street, Claremorris and all are welcome to attend the event.
