InterTradeIreland is holding a two-day workshop in the Harlequin Hotel in Castlebar on April 13 and 27 to help local companies compete for Government contracts across the island.
Mayo companies are being encouraged by InterTradeIreland to tap into the public sector market across the island – which has a requirement for goods and services estimated to be worth over €13 billion each year. The cross-border body is holding a two-day Go-2Tender workshop to help firms increase their chances of success when competing for public sector contracts North and South.
InterTradeIreland’s Go2Tender programme consists of two separate workshops with the option of up to three half-day mentoring sessions from an experienced procurement consultant to assist with tender development and advice. Companies taking part will gain a better understanding of how public sector organisations buy their goods and services, how to source tender opportunities, the procurement process and how it works across the island, what buyers are looking for in potential suppliers and how to prepare a winning tender bid.
Participants can also register for tender alerts which are sent direct to their mobile so that live business opportunities are literally at their finger tips. For further information and to register visit www.intertradeireland.com/go2tender
