Hot on the heels of being announced the winners of the CIE International Award of Excellence for 2009, the team at Hotel Westport are delighted to be chosen as double winners, having just scooped the 2010 award also. Commenting on the double win Declan Heneghan, the hotel’s general manager said: “It takes a good team to win such a prestigious international award once, but it takes a great team to put these awards back to back.
“This is indicative of the commitment to standards and customer care that all at Hotel Westport continually deliver to our guests and customers,” Mr Heneghan added. “Despite the demands of operating in the current economic climate, four star standards have been upheld by the dedicated team at Hotel Westport.”
The award is recognition for those hotels who have excelled and achieved a 90 per cent plus level of satisfaction. Every client who travels on a CIE scheduled coach tour completes an evaluation form, which is appraised externally and independently by CST International.
Hotel Westport is the only hotel in the west of Ireland to receive this award. Conor Wall, quality control manager, CIE International said during the presentation, “Feedback is continually sought from CIE customers, and it is an absolute credit to the whole team at Hotel Westport to be achieving such a high standard on a consistent basis”.
