The Irish Wheelchair Association, Belmullet launched its Angel Campaign 2008 in the day resource centre, Logmore, Belmullet. The campaign was launched by Erris Person of the Year Anna Marie Healy, and Erris Young Person of the Year Nicolle Geraghty, both of whom are members of the Irish Wheelchair Association.
The IWA’s national fundraising campaign takes place during the month of November. Heavenly Angel Pins will be available nationwide for €2 each, bringing much-needed funds to help us improve their many services, and continue to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
The Irish Wheelchair Association provide services to 104 service users in the Erris area. Each year volunteers, staff, members, their friends and family help us raise much-needed funds which help to sustain and enhance our services in the Erris Area. So why not come and join our team, whether it’s selling a box, holding an Angel Event, joining us on the streets or simply making an on-line donation on Friday November 14. www.iwa.ie
