At the Museum of Country Life, Turlough, this month take part in a tour which takes place daily at 3pm, which focuses on St Patrick’s Day and Easter customs. Entrance is €2 per adult and free for children aged 16 and under.
On March 20 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm a talk about the Census of Ireland will take place. This talk for adults will be given by Caitríona Crowe from the National Archives.
Exploring ceramics for children will take place on March 25 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Join Lorna Elms to experiment with stamping, painting, and mixing colours to decorate your own plate to bring home.
