A man who was still over the drink driving limit the evening after a party, was disqualified from driving for one year at Castlebar District Court this week.
On July 18 2010 at 7.56pm, Laurynas Gedvilas, 1 Blackfort Manor, Castlebar, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. A breath sample was taken at the Garda station which gave a reading of 39mg of breath per 100ml of alcohol.
The Lithuanian had been at a party the night before, however he was still over the limit that evening.
Gedvilas was convicted and fined €200 by Judge Mary Devins and disqualified from driving for one year.
