Smart Travel Castlebar (formerly Iompar Castlebar ), encompassing the HSE, Mayo County Council, Castlebar Town Council, Mayo Sports Partnership, An Taisce Green Schools Programme, Mayo VEC, Iompar Mhaigheo, and representatives from community and voluntary groups, wants to hear what the election candidates in Mayo think about sustainable and safe travel for all of us.
If you would like to hear what the local candidates think, go along to the lunchtime meeting hosted by Smart Travel Castlebar on Wednesday February 16 at 1pm in GMIT Castlebar. Light refreshments will be provided at 12.30pm.
Note that permit parking, with clamping for non-permit holders, is in operation at GMIT, so it is better not to park on the campus. There will also be some spot prizes for people who arrive by bicycle.
