People on premises after hours were waiting for a taxi

The licensee of a premises in Killala was convicted and fined €300 at Ballina District Court this week after five people were in his pub at 1.45am.

Gardaí entered Lynn’s Public House, Market Street, Killala on August 16 2010. It took a while for the owner, David Lynn, to allow the gardaí in.

The five people present were American relations of the owner who were waiting for a taxi.
