A man who told gardaí that “they are only wankers” was convicted and fined €300 at this week’s sitting of Ballina District Court.
On December 21 2010, at 2.30am gardaí responded to an incident on Garden Street, Ballina. As a man charged at gardaí, James Cash, 4 Avondale Court, Ballina got involved and was abusive to gardaí.
The 28-year-old, who has previous convictions, was convicted and fined by Judge Mary Devins.
