Westport town councillor Brendan Mulroy told the monthly meeting of Westport Town Council that “the time has come for the town council to be live on the internet for meetings”.
Cllr Mulroy’s remarks were made while discussing the Town of Tomorrow competition, which has a strong link with Google. With this in mind the Fianna Fáil councillor said that the public should be able to watch the town’s council meetings on the internet.
