With the election looming ensure you are registered to vote by checking www.checktheregister.ie By visiting this site you can click on a link for your local authority where you can easily see if you are included on the register. If you are not included, you can add yourself to the Supplement Register of Electors. However the closing date for adding yourself to this is on or before the 14th day (Sundays, public holidays and Good Friday excluded ) before polling day. If the likely date of February 25 will be election day, then this means a matter of days before closing date for the final inclusion on the electoral register.
