A man was sent forward for trial on indictment for dangerous driving causing death at Ballyhaunis District Court this week.
Rafal Welliloicz, 6 The Harbour, Castle Cove, Enniscrone, Co Sligo, was in court to face the charge arising out of an incident that occurred at Farrangarde, Quay Road, Ballina, on July 31 2010, where there were two fatalities. The part time chef was remanded on his own bond of €500 to appear before the courts again on March 8 2011. He was charged by Garda Eanna Casey on January 4 2011 in relation to the incident after he was arrested by him at 7.10am.
