The next meeting is on Wednesday 29 October at 8pm sharp in the Castlecourt Hotel and being mid-October it’s contest time again at Toastmasters Westport.
For the last two years the Westport club has done really well with competitors progressing through the first and second rounds of competition right up to the UK and Ireland level at the conferences. All are wished well in competing. New members are also encouraged to come along to the meetings.

There are still a few places left for the 8pm spinning class on Thursday nights in Ballinrobe.
Grab your water bottles and join us in an exciting, energising spin class for an amazing workout. Bikes are provided and no experience is necessary. The 60-minute class is open to all abilities and takes place at the Cycling Centre on the Kilmaine Road, Ballinrobe. Pre-booking is essential as classes are limited to 15. The Charismatic Prayer Group Castlebar are organising a reading day of renewal (retreat ) on Sunday October 26 at 1.30pm in the Social Services Centre, Castle Street, Castlebar with a healing Eucharist at 4pm.

The Marie Carolan Foundation Hallowe’en Ball will take place at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel on Friday October 31 at 8.30pm. Fancy dress is essential!
