Christmas crackers in the Welcome Inn this Christmas

If a quiet Christmas does not sound like your cup of tea, wrap up and step out to the Welcome Inn Hotel and party your way through a lively Christmas into a vibrant New Year. Every night of the holiday season from this weekend on will see at least one of the hotel’s three party venues (Club Mantra, The Lounge and The Fáilte Suite ) open for business. With choice like that, you are sure to find something perfect for your taste.

The Lounge will be free in every night and all events in Club Mantra and The Fáilte Suite will be no more than €10. With special performances and promotions throughout the holiday season and all at recession-friendly price tags there is no reason to save all your club night fun for New Years Eve.

A variety of acts are due to perform in the Welcome Inn Hotel’s party venues over the Christmas period to enhance the festive fun. On Saturday December 18, Nemo le Magician returns to Club Mantra for a magical Christmas, as well as a crack the code competition with a €1,000 cash prize up for grabs for the first 100 people in. The first one to guess the code to the Mantra safe will win, making Christmas shopping this year a whole lot easier.

On Wednesday December 22, Club Mantra will play host to the number one international Lady Gaga Tribute Tour and on Thursday December 23 Mick Sheridan and his band What The Funk, as heard on Today FM, will be taking over the Fáilte Suite while Club Mantra transforms once again to bring you a Full Moon Party on the same night. On St Stephen’s Night you can hone your skills on the dance floor with classic hits and charty bits in the Fáilte Suite with DJ Danny Mc Gowan or in Club Mantra’s whose resident DJ will have loads of festive prizes to give away.

The biggest night, however, is set to be New Year’s Eve when The Classic Beatles will perform their first gig in the west for quite some time. The Fáilte Suite will open its doors at 10pm with the band on stage at 10.30pm. They will be followed by a DJ to finish out the night. This act is not to be missed, being the only Beatles tribute in the world to have worked with famed Beatle producer Sir George Martin, as well as members of an ex-Beatle’s solo band. Gear up for your New Year’s Eve celebrations with nights out in the Welcome Inn Hotel over Christmas, and finish the year in style with a big New Year’s Eve night out. With Christmas parties galore over the festive period, you really are spoilt for choice.
