Experience the excitement of the RNLI Achill Lifeboat Swim on New Year’s Day. This unique event takes place at Dugort Strand at 1pm sharp.
The Dugort women will be on hand with hot soup, and Billy Scott, family, and staff at the Strand Hotel will supply hot toddies and live music afterwards to warm everyone’s spirits.
If swimmers would like to ask their friends, neighbours, and/or colleagues to sponsor them to do the swim they can email RNLI Dublin headquarters at [email protected] for a sponsorship form. Swimmers can also telephone the RNLI office at 01 895 1800 and a form will be posted to them.
