Campbell’s Tavern in Cloughanover, Headford, has a great line up of entertainment in store this Christmas which is sure to have a little bit of something for everyone, kicking off this evening, Friday December 10, with the Wii Olympics and cocktail night from 10pm. That will be followed tomorrow night, Saturday December 10, with a piano session and darts competition. On Sunday there will be a more relaxed vibe with the Solstice Arts Group annual Christmas fair.
With Christmas a time when families and friends get back together from far flung places around the globe, the Home for Christmas gig on Friday December 17 with Matt Cunningham and friends, with special guest Sean Keane, is the perfect occasion for you to catch up with yours. This event is in aid of Ability West. The Lounge Lizzards Christmas party on December 19 in aid of the Simon Community promises to be a night of lively entertainment.
As Christmas week runs on there will be a trad session on December 22 and it will be the turn of the bluegrass greats Noelie, Gert, and guests to take to the stage on December 23 and the Headford Youth Big Band will keep everyone entertained.

On St Stephen’s night, the Tav Jam Band will be the perfect choice to kick off your post Christmas celebrations. And if that is not enough entertainment over the holiday period then why not check out the legendary Frankie Gavin and De Dannan on December 28, with local man Eric Cunningham also taking to the stage. On New Year’s Eve the 12th annual New Year’s Eve party will kick off with a session in the front bar featuring Noelie, Mousie, and guests, and in the back DJ Solaar v DJ Con.
